Nice, nice find. Can you post some dash shots? I'd love to see the light & siren controls.

Basically a standard Mainline dash, a couple of extra toggle switches for the lights and a mic holder for the two-way radio (which I have). The siren is operated by a floor switch to the left of the dimmer, takes about a second to get up to full scream but takes over five minutes to coast down.

The previous owner only had it for a few weeks, set off the siren in his front yard- neighbors called the cops and code enforcement. He had about twelve cars in his front yard, so had to sell everything off quick, which is how I ended up with it. He'd pulled the original rubber floor out, which apparently came apart in the process, but I'll be molding a replacement from some nice brown rubber ACC mat yardage.

Just closed the deal on this '54 Ranch Wagon. Bringing it home tomorrow to be an "older brother" to my '39 P/U. It has a 239 Y block and 3 speed manual. Thinking of a 302 with either a T5 or an AOD but not sure.

Congrats on the Ranch Wagon. You'll love it! Mine is a dark green version of the same thing.

Congratulations on your new purchase. These are great looking old Fords. There is a very good article on the 1950 to 1954 Fords comparing them with the similar year Chevs in the April 2019 issue of Collectible Automobile. It says that there were 36,086 Customline Ranch Wagons produced. It is a good read if you can get a hold of a copy. The Cover shot shows a nice 1953 Ford Crestline Victoria.

Interesting. It was popular to use 59 DeSoto HDL Doors on the 58 EDSEL.

The '54 Ranchwagon, is one of my favorites. We had one, when I was 14. My dad had it painted baby blue (probably my mom's idea). It had dual pipes, with glass pack's and I used to go out and start it up,just to hear the pipes rap.

In 61 my folks bought a new Falcon 2 dr wagon, black with red/white interior. As kids my sister and I were all over the upper midwest in the back of the Falcon. I'll never forget the time we came out of a restaurant got in the car and dad keys would not start the car. Ha there was two black with red/white interior two door wagons on the parking lot that day.
At the age of three it was the first car I got behind the wheel of, sitting on dad's lap of course and vacation time the back seat went down the car was loaded up to the windows and we would lay on top of the stuff as we went down the road even with the back window down. I dropped my sisters scarf out the back window somewhere in Wyoming......little brothers!
Story was the oil pump went out on the little six but dad wasn't the best with oil changes or even keeping it full. I remember crying the day it was traded for a Country Squire.

Rare 1964 Ford Falcon Two-Door Station Wagon that found its way to Australia. This was the second last year for this body style, 1965 being the last of year for the Falcon Two-Door Stations.

1961 Ford 2 door Ranch Wagon. This was the final year for this body style for the "big" Fords.

Or a Crown Ranch Wagon with Fairlane trim.
Only the ID plate in the door jamb knows for sure.

That is a conversion. It has the CROWN tiara and hopefully the CV doors (no window frame) w/ PARKLANE TRIM.

Beautiful.
