Default '59 Ford defroster hose source?

Looking for this piece of hose that goes between the heater box and defroster plenum. Its oval and I can't find it in any parts house I deal with. Nobody online has a listing for it. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks, Bob

if not if you have a store that make hoses they may have it or can get something that will work granted it will be round but that stuff is flexible

A while back I had a '59 Ranchero . I needed that piece also . I ended up using a piece of very inexpensive dryer exhaust vent flex hose ( from Home Depot ). I had to squeeze it into the right shape to fit , and secured it w/a hose clamp on the ends . Give it a shot !

Close but no cigar. But thanks to everyone for the help. I've seen some Jeep oval hoses that I can adapt.

Both the heater and defroster attach points are oval. If I get a hose that is too big, I'll make up adapters from some dense foam, maybe stack up some Dynamat.

I had the same problem with a 58 Ford heater and cut the top and bottom off of a black plastic oil bottle. As I recall it fit perfectly. Don't forget to take the paper label off the bottle.

I used the foil back duct tape that hvac people use on mine. Then painted it black. Not original but neat and functional.

Thumbs down Re: '59 Ford defroster hose source?

Check with some of the after market A/C vendors (i.e. Vintage
Air). They use pliable duct material that might work.
