30/31 DLX Open Car Windshield Question
I am missing one little detailed bit of information I am hoping one of you can help me with.
On the 30/31 deluxe open cars, there are 2 small clips that attach to the top part of the windshield frame with screws to hold the vacuum wiper hose. MY repro windshield frame does not have the holes for these screws and I want to get them in the right spot/orientation. Does anyone have a picture/dimensions available that show just how/where these little clips attach? I sure appreciate the help. Thanks! Mike |

Re: 30/31 DLX Open Car Windshield Question
Hi Mike, I would recommend a trip to Marco's website: abarnyard.com
There you will find photos and details on the highest point car ever judged, which just happens to be a '30 dlx roadster. I'm very sure there are pictures of the area you're inquiring about.

Re: 30/31 DLX Open Car Windshield Question
From my orginial windwhield frame ,Deluxe roadster/ Deluxe Phaeton chrome plated : Left to right from top corner [first hole 2-3/8" , second hole from corner 7-7/8". Now measure from glass channel up to top is 11/16" ...The holes are 'NOT" straight forward looking at them ,,They are closer to the top of the frame. 2 Holes are 1/8"
