Emergency Brake Carrier Plate
My rear brakes were covered with gear oil/grease and plain worn out. I had to replace most items. The book mentions that there are left and right emergency brake carrier plates, how do I identify which one is the left and right one? Thanks for any help.

Re: Emergency Brake Carrier Plate
hold the carrier so you are facing the outward side of it. If the cam shaft housing is facing left and the tab where the ends of the band rest is on the right and up above the center, its the left side carrier. If the shaft housing is facing right and band rest is on the left and above center, its the right side.
