Default Model T trailer Axle`

Hey Barners, I picked up and Old farm trailer with this axle.
What can you tell me about it?

Sorry I didn't really measure any thing, and in the process of removing the wheels I trashed the hubs, The wheels were sandwiched between the plate steel welded to the hub and another welded to the wheel. The plate on the wheel had rusted to the hub.

Have you guys ever seen the bracket that go from steering arm hole back to the axle? seems that the old farmer that built the trailer didn't want to weld the spildles but had no problem welding everything else.

Jeff

I think "the bracket" is the stock spindle arm bent around. If you ever use this axle be sure to check the tilt of the king pins. It was common for a trailer axle to be bent so the wheels would stand up straight instead of leaning out at the top.
