Not much to brag about in the shadow of Mot. His collection makes me drool!
It took aprox 20 years to find this stuff, but I'm confident it's still out there. Like someone else said...you just gotta dig deeper |

It's not as bad as you think! The diagonal outer layer was always a bit stiff and not great for folding. Ford planned a '29 Roadster top out of that (including assigned part numbers) but never implemented it for reasons I believe obvious. Additionally you will find your rear curtain has a layer between the diagonal grain pyroxyline and the Mock Twist lining. That inside layer is "buckram" which is impregnated burlap. Buckram is stiff by design and makes that rear curtain almost more like a panel. Also note the the buckram inner layer stops short of where the other layers tack to the rear bow. This is so the curtain assembly can be folded up inside the car and fastened to the straps overhead.

Re: Your best NOS Model A/AA Find?
My best find just sort-a repeated itself if you can beleive it?!? A couple of months a go I found an NOS Boyce Ford Model-A MotoMeter on eBay.
It had a buy it now for $49.95, so I grabbed it of course. Well, the same auctioner had another Boyce Ford Model-A MotoMeter on eBay with a buy it now for $39.95, so I scarfed it up too! It is not NOS like the first one. But is in excellent shape just not as shinny. Bob-A |

I won't embarrass the fella by name who gave me this NOS key ring, but I know he has helped many others through the years, not just me ...he's truly #1 !!! If I ever get my car done this will be the item I show off proudest, for sure,Kev. |

I bought an NOS camshaft, but would love to score a crank and rods, or better yet a short block.
