Default Found my miss,,BUT

On my 46 3ton I tried a new coil as after points, carb, cond etc etc it would still do a 2300+ RPM miss ..Hit the bottom of your pants like a brick like twice a second. Point bounce was looked at too many times. Vac gauge was near perfect. I tested coil. It was low resistance than every source told me. So changed. Got rid of 70%. Adjusting idle screws near all out did 25 more%,although new coil tests same as old. Fuel starve?????

Idle mixture screws nearly all out?? Sounds like a Carb issue.

Check that fuel pump is putting out.
It that looks good, check the float level setting in the carb.

Besides checking for fuel problems and other obvious things, you may want to check the distributor for any looseness in the shaft. Pull the cap and see if there is any side to side movement. A loose shaft can cause the point gap to fluctuate, causing a miss that may only show up at a certain engine speed.
Good luck!
