Default Early Ford Coronavirus masks, we are still car people!

Since the new guidelines, request they we all wear masks when we are out.

Show me you Coronavirus Ford masks.

My wife made this one for me and one for herself. Route 66/ Woody, material.

I have also included a few options for other material.

We are all still car people! So let the world know.

Stay safe and healthy.

How about one with the mask right side up?

The pattern is contained in this utube video:

My wife made a few of these , they are proving popular. A regular cotton mask is apparently not sufficient. So i suggested she go to our milking shed and put some replaceable milk filter in each one . A pipe cleaner to shape over the nose.
Mmmm doughnuts, she has flames, and other designs.
This no time for pride at present , be sensible and safe.

Haven't seen that one, maybe you could provide us a picture?

Actually, a popular filter are ones made from furnace filters and you slide them into the filter pocket of the mask. People have become very creative. As to using a heppa filter, most modern day cars have them in the car, used when you recirculate the air in the car, so they are readily available. Another solution was the use of vacuum bags. This has always been a very creative nation and world, just read a few past posts on how to deal with our cars.

Stay safe and healthy. It is the first war we are not fighting each other.

Someday, these will be put away, and a subject for a discussion in the future.

My missus is honing her sewing skills to make masks. We are using Hepa vac bags, and high end furnace filters.

I looked through the junk pile and wound up in the recycle barrel. Soda cans cut vertically into strips just less than 3/4 wide, then folded three times over to make a strip, about 1/4 ro 5/16 wide,

Finish flat with hammer, to supply the nose bridge strip. Not the best type of metal, but its what I got.

If you can get into a sewing machine, there are many youtubes on this. I was raised around sewing machines. Was tasked to produce double hems on an industrial machine. Waiting for her to ask for relief.
