35 steering wheel
Is the 35 supposed to have a 3 spoke wheel or a banjo steering wheel? Mine has a banjo, and while it looks nice, with a nice rim and spokes,it is a little wobbly where the spokes fit into the hub.If it really doesn't belong there I would just as soon change it.

Re: 35 steering wheel
The so-called banjo wheel was a '36 model part. The original '35 wheel was hard rubber over a steel core and had three spokes and raised ridges spaced equally along the face of the wheel. They are somewhat difficult to find in good condition without the ridges worn away. They have not been reproduced. The '36 standard steering wheel was the same except there were no raised ridges on the face of the wheel. It was reproduced at one time by Bob Drake.

If you want a '35 wheel that looks show correct, you could make one from a standard '36 reproduction steering wheel by adding those raised ridges. It's a tedious job, but I know it can be done.
