Here in Northern California most dealer lots have very few cars.
Yesterday I saw $6.00 gallon regular gasoline for sale.
Guess we best enjoy local drives in the A!

Mike Peters, you are correct. Used equipment prices are sky high right now. I've sold several older implements for more $$ than I thought they would bring. I had just priced high to give dicker room and I have not had to move much lower at all.

I bought a manlift 6 months ago to help build my house.I've always done everything by myself, but setting roof trusses at 65 by myself was a bit much.I had told the guy I bought it from that I would probably peddle it off once I was done.He called me a few weeks ago wanting to know if I had finished with it yet.The house was up but I still had a lot of tree work to do.He offered my money back on it.He buys these from rental outfits, but they are having a hard time getting new units because of the computer chip delays. He's not getting the half dozen units a month he used to get to resell.

There's a 2004 Honda one block my house -- $3,500.00, 114k miles. Come fix my '31 Ford PicUp rear-main oil leak and I'll buy you the Honda!! I've got Money and Hip-Arthritis.
PM me and I can send photo's/phone number, tomorrow. It's been setting there two months I know, owned by a young family man. I think you can get it for less.(I'll get his permission first before sending phone number)

I work for a major trailer manufacturer that makes car haulers among many other styles. We are months behind in production. I see almost on a daily basis a brand new dually pickup pull in to pick up their trailer. New truck, new trailer! The odd part of this deal is that most of the drivers are young eastern European guys, mostly from Russia. Where are these people moving all the used cars?

well Stretch,

Ill bite, I think they are all starting their own hauling businesses. Nobody in the states seems to want to work and they dont mind driving 20 hrs straight.

fella from Poland came here 4 weeks ago to PU a Cord I sold. It was going to Poland.
His flatbed was shotter then shot and needed a complete rebuild or destined for the razorblade factory. He asked me if I wanted to sell my new car trailer..........

I just bought a 2013 F150. I have been looking since about this time last year. This past sept I finally pulled the plug and got one. For the same price I paid for my truck in Sept I could have bought a 2015 model this past January. I have a friend that bought a 2012 f 150 about 5 years ago. The used truck market currently has his truck realistically valued at what he paid, maybe slightly less. In the mid atlantic used truck prices are crazy. I only hope that translates into an easy sale for my 06 f150 I am selling.

There is a large dealership next town over. Chevy and and a separate Buick building. Went by this past Friday, they had 3 new cars on the chevy lot and 5 new cars on the Buick lot. Their used lot was full of late model trucks. Large Chrysler dealer, has a few more cars but not a lot. The Ford dealership seems to be stocked ok though.
