Default 6 and 12 v Borg solenoid

Is there a way to tell a 6v from a 12 solenoid on a BW OD. I have a couple solenoids that I don’t know the voltage, hooked one to a 6v battery charger and it will not kick it but 12 will so I am assuming it’s 12
Thanks

You need to connect them up to a fully charged battery to correctly test them. They pull a heavy in-rush current when first activated and a battery charger may not have the power to handle it.

Unless they are marked 12V or 6V, the only way I know to test them is those that will activate on 6V are 6V, and if they will not, but will activate on 12V are 12V.

How many OHMs are the two different coils?

They should be different.
