Default Dispatch Pocket Wood

Do the ‘30-31 pickup dispatch pockets require wood blocks or was this required only for ‘28-29’s?

No wood blocks needed. The pocket comes with medal strips that go behind the kick-panel that you will attach the pocket on for the other side. Everything is in the kit.
This meant for the 30/31's

Actually they show 1928-1930 which would be for the 82-A body
used till mid 1930. https://www.mikes-afordable.com/product/AWD1282-5.html

Note the late-30 - 31 dispatch pocket is mounted at an angle on the passenger kick panel:

Seems it would be just as easy to mount correctly with 1/2-dozen rivets, but whatever.

If not high point car it’s doesn’t matter as long as it looks good. I’d rather not drill holes when not necessary.
