Default lowering using stock suspension adaptions

hey guys,

Me and my dad are still working on our 46 ford. We've been going to car shows and cruise nights and we've seen some of these 46 pickups lowered. We like the look, but we want to keep the chassis, body and frame original. We were looking through some of my dads old car magazines and we saw an article that talked about lowering using stock suspension adaptions. We're wondering if anyone has any experience lowering a 46 pickup using this approach.

Thanks

You can get a reversed eye front spring and lower it 1" and a dropped front axle from 2" to 4" dropped.

The most simple way is to use longer spring shackles.
