Smile Pictures from the Fox Valley Region Turkey Dinner

Hello fellow Fordbarners. I have just posted pictures (I have so far) from the Fox Valley MARC Regions 27th annual Turkey Dinner. A BIG THANKS to all who attended. There were many beautiful cars there and we got to see a lot of good Model A Friends. Hope to get some more pictures soon.

"VERY" NICE ,,you as a club get together in this way. Nice showing.... I use to do this for my locale A.A.C.A. club.[13 years straight]. Alot of work for some 130 people. It helps when you were in the food business...

Actually our small club invites all the local Model A clubs for our turkey roast. It is held at a local high school. Many attendees drive their cars out and we have been blessed with great fall weather for the last several years. Our members have run of the culinary arts kitchen and serve up turkey and ham for almost 200! Our head Chef, John Cali, was a chef in the coast guard. He said he had to cook good or he'd be swimming home! One reassuring thing is we are getting some younger folks involved in the Model A hobby. Kids, grand kids, etc are likely the next owners of old cars.

This event is one of the Model A event "highlights" of the year for my family. John's turkeys are by far the best! He gives my wife one of the carcases so we enjoy turkey soup for days. The potluck additions of salads, veggies, and deserts are terrific. This year the weather was perfect and the turnout of A's was great as you can see in the pictures. Gar Williams
