Question for Lincoln folks
There's a gent thats selling a 46-48 Linc front axel and spindles and I'm wanting to know if the spindles will work on a 31 ford axel.He said the kingpins are larger but bearings(inner/outer) are the same as early ford. Also inclination of spindles is different?I've got a good 46 complete front brake pkg should I keep looking for ford spindles?Thanx in advance,Webb.Already goofed once and bought F1 spindles inner bearing is bigger.

Re: Question for Lincoln folks
The difference in king pin angle is enough to warn you off -unless you don't have a problem with a couple bends in the axle to straighten things back up. The only advantage to using the spindles is if you get the backing plates & brakes as well.
