Default Marvel Mystery Oil

I just got two quarts of MMO.I was reading some reviews on it and everyone seems to love it(one guy said it he drinks it,not to sure about that)I guess I didn't know what I was missing. How many FordBarners use it?I think I might be a convert.

A couple tablespoons in the fry pan before adding the scrambled eggs, they won't stick and taste like 'flathead ford'

I use it for sure on hot days, and have not had a problem with regular gas here in Minnesota (10 -15 % Ethanol) when others have. 2 stroke oil probably would work as well but ..... MMO goes on sale frequently here.

Poured it thru the carb to successfully free up stuck valves.

On everything & in all dino burning engines & also mix 50/50 with acetone for lube on stuck parts. I'm thinkin maybe it would work for a suntan lotion. heh heh he
I purchase it @ wally world by the gallon, A lot cheaper
I also use the blue (marine grade ) sta-bil mixed with the MMO. Engines love it.

I put the recommended amount in the gas tank during fill up unless I am in some type of rush or happen to forget. I also add some to the crankcase when oil is changed. I'm not 100% sure just how much this helps my engine...but...this engine does run very well, so I'm going to keep using it unless someone can prove to me that I'm wasting time and/or money.

I have been thinking about adding some to my morning coffee to see if it will help relieve joint aches and pains but am waiting to hear someone else's report on how well this works before I risk ruining the taste of my morning coffee .

I run it through the carb occasionally, and use it in the oil, usually with every fill up.

I've been using it in my A every time I add fuel (because at these prices I can't afford to fill up!!), usually one or two "glugs". No downside to doing it.

I have used it for 60 years and it would take all of the room this site has to post the engine fixes as well as automatic transmissions. I think it may be a waste in the oil unless you had big problems. Pick an engine oil with good additives. I use a MMO injector that injects the MMO from a plate below the carb. I drive to many old Fords and don't remember if I put it in the gas or not. This gets to the areas affected by the new gas. In the tank is better because it does the same as the injector but also cleans the tank, fuel lines, pump needle valve and carb. If valves are realy stuck drizzle down both sides of the engine slowly while running. This usually produces instant results, refer to the slow down in 3rd test in a post above. With dual exhaust pipes after warm up you can also hear slight sticky valves. Running good the duals have a steady boom, boom, boom at idle. Sticky valves will give a boom, boom, bip, boom, boom, bip. Drizzle MMO down the carb, put it in the gas tank, drive 10 miles and it is smooth. I have seen the instant results at least a 100 times. G.M.

Even with the oiler I give it a shot in the gas tank once in awhile. G.M.

Fibber, I've used it for over 40 years in our Flatheads. I installed an AMPO top oiler in the '39 Zephyr and the '39 CS. Were you in Odessa, FL yesterday? I saw a '41 TuDor that was the same color as your car, I was driving our '39 Ford CS. Vic

M.M.O! What can anyone say? I (I'm in my 60s) learned about it about 10-12 years ago when I was in my Ford Tractor phase. I was in the site "Yesterday's Tractors" and MMO kept coming up as a great product! I remember it from long ago, but thought it was just another oversold additive. Who needs it? However, when I aquired an Allis Chalmers "B" with a stuck engine, I doused it liberally with MMO. Two days later, Presto! The engine wasn't stuck anymore. I joined the MMO fan club! However, Unless there's a specific problem, I don't like putting it in the oil. Except a few hours just before an oil change. However ATF will do almost the same things for you.
