Default Center Fold

I only buy because of the articles BUT. (never heard that before)
The center fold pages in the current "Model A News" has a accessory that I have never seen on any A ever. The parking light mounted on the fender and not the cowl. is there any out there? $2.50 cheaper than the cowl lights. Things you learn everyday. In the day that seems better than cowl lights because of the separation from the headlights.
And was the quail rad cap only a option or did Henry put it on.
just wondering

Go on the Buenes Aries Model A Club website, those lights are COMMON, there. Even if you can't read their Spanish, you'll be there for HOURS!
My 16" hub caps were made there, they still have the stickers, inside them!

The quail and the parking lights, both cowl and fender mounted, were Ford-authorized extra cost options, except for a few models that had cowl lights standard. Probably more A's have them now than ever did back in the day - most folks then didn't have the disposable income for "fancy gee-gaws". Not sure, but I think the fender lights were discontinued after 28 - 29. There was a Tudor that had them on eBay a while back - only one I've ever seen.

The Fender-Mounted 'Parking lights' were standard on most European Model A's.

I'm surprised nobody has reproduced the fender lights.

"Slowly read this version from the late 20's.

You're a poet

and you don't know it

but your feet show it

They're long fellows.

And they stink like the Dickens."

Had to look it up to improve my edjakayshun.
