Hope the pictures of my brake drum is shown. Let me know if anyone has drums like this please

I think those might actually be a little newer than '34. I don't think '34 drums had the ribs in the drums. Those with more knowledge would know better. I'm pretty sure there are 2 rear axles at my parents house with those drums. I would have to measure to make sure they are the same.

This truck has an Eaton two speed rear end it was the first year that Ford had used it under their trucks. It is smaller in dia. than the drums on my other two 34 trucks which both have single speed rear ends. It measures 14" on the inside of the drum. I sure do appreciate everyone's help. Thanks, Ken

I assume the truck has mechanical brakes and does the two speed have mechanical
linkage for shifting.
1930-early 34 wheels were 5 on 6 7/8" bolt circle and late 1934-late 40's were
5 on 8" bolt circle.

Yes sir your correct it does still have the mechanical brakes and the lever next to the cowl that shifts the rear end. I didn't know that about the bolt pattern on the trucks. That's one of the things I love about this site, is the wealth of knowledge. Thank you
