I don't like the term "upgrades" but prefer the terms "personal preferences" or "modifications". My thinking is based on a 1930 car in a 2021 driving environment. I love the look of the Model "A" but have adapted it to current conditions such as a 5.5 head, LED signals, modern water pump, Borg Warner T5 transmission, stronger radius rods, cast iron brake drums, 12 volt system, carpets, and a tachometer. Don't stress out on what others are doing or not doing... it's your "Baby"...ENJOY IT!

I agree, in a perfect world you are right.

First thing guys do is see if their car is faster and better than the other guys car, even amongst stock model a club members the competition is fierce. When that guy with the 5.5 head gaps you off the light and pulls into DQ before you you'll have that feeling.. the look from the kiddies in the back seat will tell you too.
