Default String Wind Clock Repair Recommendations Please

I have a mirror mount string wind clock that is stuck, doesn't run, can't wind it.
I'd like to get working. Would like to send it out for a mechanical overhaul.

Any recommendations, a person or company that you know can do this work?

Thanks

These folks have done three clocks for me. Reasonable price and quick turnaround.

Here's an estimate I recently received from 'THE CLOCK WORKS' Co. for repair of a similar string wind clock:

Your original clock movement can be serviced for the flat rate of $169.95 plus return shipping. This includes disassembly of the movement, replacement of any worn or distorted parts, oiling and calibration. We only ask that the clock be complete, fully assembled and the movement serviceable.

If it cannot be serviced for any reason the only cost would be $17 for return shipping.

Normal turnaround is 3 to 4 weeks and the warranty is one year.

In a hurry? This clock is eligible for express turnaround which moves you to the front of the line for an additional $25. Please indicate “EXPRESS SERVICE” on the outside of the box.

Return shipping within the US is $17.

You can pack your clock up and ship it by UPS, Fed-X, US mail, or any means convenient to you. You can enclose a check or money order, bill the service to your credit card, or we can send a PayPal invoice.

I too have dealt with this place and have been satisfied all but one time. That time? They lost a fuse cap. While that may not sound like a big deal, it was for an electric clock, 1940 Ford. The holy grail of 1940 Ford accessories.

Wow! That is a big deal. The last clock I sent to them earlier this year was my 40 electric clock. But it came back whole and is installed in my original 40 Tudor.

I did manage to find a '40 Mercury clock on eBay. It (the clock) was rough but had the cover.
