1959 galaxie body mounts & air intake panels
Happy Holidays
At this time working on replacing original body mounts . According to the ford manual the rubber style bushings must be tighten every 9000 miles. So are there urethane bushings available in the market place. Next The air intake-panels behind the grill on my galaxie were cobbled not original . Purchased body manual turned out no show for front panels. Could some one send pictures or panel layouts. Or give me a heads up. |

Re: 1959 galaxie body mounts & air intake panels
Happy Holiday Rick
Appreciate the feedback a most helpful attachment. So there are housing the tubs attach to. But how do the housing attach to the front end is there a panel missing. Or do the housing attach directly to the radiator support. Are there replacements housing available. My Galaxie has cut up bad tubes that were supported by furnace duct works. Bad setup. Have a wonderful holiday |

The tube (#01902) bolts to the housing (#8014), which in turn bolts to the bottom of the front fender below the headlights....if i remember correctly....
