Default 1929 roadster quarter panel flange to sub frame request

Had to patch both wheel wells along with lower quarter panels. The panels are clamped in place oon the new sub frame, looks good to go but... Does anyone have pictures showing the quarter panel flange area attaching onto the sub frame. Know the original metal flange was notched about an inch in length. But my quarter were in rough shape, only had this on one little section.Would be nice if there was supporting information before cutting the metal flange area. the flange needs to be trimmed as it is to long to crimp to sub frame. Any instructions on how to create a clean flange.
