Default 16 Day transformation of 30 pickup.

I started off with a well used truck, it ran pretty decent. 16 day's later and it's on the road. Pan was full of sludge, aluminum cam gear needed replacement, no wiring, floorboards, horn, light switch, engine pans, rear end was not secured properly. I made videos of just about everything.

16 days? Those shows on TV rescue total wrecks in under 4 days to make it to an important car show on the other side of the country.
Just kidding. Great result!

Most of the improvement came from removing the white walls.

Might need a stripe. Same guy going there to letter a window in a Ford Garage ?

Dave,

Don't forget that Garage Squad on TV has 6 or 7 people working on the car, 16 days is pretty good for one person.

I used Miller's tire paint on the white walls, this stuff is great!
The bumper I think is a accessory from Pep boys,j.c Whitney???
Headlights were 32 ford.
Truck has friction shocks all the way around.

Good job Wick! It takes me 16 days just to THINK about a big project that needs to be done. Did you paint the radiator shell or actually have a half-ton pickup shell? Those are super hard to find a good one these days that aren't all rusted out.

Beautiful transition and nearly miraculous in 16 days. You are a determined man.

Wick made a nice walkaround video of 16 day transformation.

I painted the radiator shell with a black primer then satin black.
One thing I should add, I only placed 1 small parts order with Brattons. All the parts I needed were all ready here in my parts storage, this saved me a lot of time.
