59AB or original 33 Engine
Probably the wrong spot on the forum but can anyone steer me toward the right spot? I'd like to buy a good running or rebuildable flathead for a 1933 Ford. If not a 33 engine, then a 59AB would keep me happy. So where should I begin in my search?

A sensible question. Asking can make your search more successful and save money.
You might inquire with H&H flatheads. I believe they have an ad on the cover page of the Ford Barn. Nice hobby....enjoy. |

Re: 59AB or original 33 Engine
This type a swap depending on the application or intent. For a restored car, back to original. Then I say go with the original engine. However for a daily driver, I'd go with the 59 or later engine.
