Arrow Weber carb

Looking to fit a weber carb on my A. Anyone know which model fits with the intake manifold? I happen to have a weber from my 69MG that is no long on the car and I would like to just use this one. Thanks

Usually the Weber kit sold from the vendors have a 32/36 DGV. You might want to search around for jets used by others. Here is one place to look, read the dyno sheets. He has jet sizes listed on the sheet for a Weber and that depends on all the other modifications besides just the Weber.

Bert's Model A has them. Have them on both A's and they may not look "traditional", but they 're easy to tune and work better than a pair of 97's.

I like the DGV 5A which has the manual choke.

denis4x4, does this look familiar? I can't figure out where it goes on my Weber.

Recently, I was looking at a Weber a Guy in NZ had fitted to his car. He had welded a hot box to the bottom of the manifold which was heated by water redirected from the top radiator hose and returned to the bottom hose. He reduced his jets by one size and got better mileage with no drop in performance.

I have been installing a couple of Carter-Webers on my Model A. There are manifolds available. I'm in process of building a dual carb manifold for mine. You can adapt a 3 bolt to 4 bolt carb base fairly easy. The carburetors I bought from http://www.langdonsstovebolt.com/store/

I've bought parts from this place...

Check out their price, and free shipping. I like the Langdon air cleaner, but not sure it will fit on my 29 Tudor. I had to do some modification to the air cleaner base on mine, rectangular shape so that it wouldn't rub against the hood.

The standard Weber manifold for a Volvo B20 engine has a water port cast into it. It makes the jetting more constant regardless of air temp. I drive it from 5f to 105f outside temps. The Volvo has a thermotstat, so the Model A might not be as steady if the water temp changes.
