What you have is something wrong with the interior rail on the truck, I think. There is one screw in the center and two on either side...total 5.

That is what I have on the rail and all the screw holes line up. I also have two small holes in the center about 3" apart??? I can drill a hole in the body so that I can put the center screw in maybe.

Could it be you have a passenger car rail and the center hole is for mounting the instrument panel light?

The length of a Slant window dash is the same as the rest, it is the width of the indentation that is different, it is wider.

After putting the rail in place I think whoever redid the cab must have cut off the d-nut, but there is a hole that lines up in the center and I can put a screw with a washer and nut and it will work. thanks for all the help.. Dwight
