Default no muffler

I had new exhaust put on my 29 coup. we run straight pipe all the way thru with the intention of installing the muffler when it arrives. I thought it would be obnoxiously loud but was surprised at the level of exhaust noise....it was not loud at all. the new muffler is on its way but until them it is drivable.

Haha! I clicked on your link, Dumb Person, thinking that it was for the tractor sound, and I got Bush Mechanic. What a classic show that was!
I now have a much better idea of WHICH South Pacific Island you're from!

Nice. My buddy removed the muffler on his 40 coupe and it's not annoying loud also.

With a low compression head the more spark advance you run the quieter it will be.

A long, round, straight thru muffler works fine.

It's quieter than the fools that drive by the house with big amps in the car that rattle the house windows.
