Default Photo needed for spring type hood prop

A member in our club needs a photo to show him how to install the spring type hood props, shown below, that are inserted around the radiator support rods. Not the kind that is usually found. No instructions are to be found on the web.

Thanks.

The club member needs a photo. The instructions are not enough for him.

Thanks Alex. That will help a lot. By the way, where in Mebane do you live. I used to live out by the golf course, Saint Andrews Drive.

Sorry, it turns out I have the regular kind, not the spring kind. But maybe I can help. The description at Mike's website is badly worded. You don't attach these to the hood rods (the hollow rods that the four hood pieces hinge on), you attach them to the radiator support rods.
  1. At the radiator end, loosen the nuts on one support rod so that it detaches from the radiator
  2. Unscrew both nuts all the way off the rod
  3. Choose the correct hood prop for that side of the car – the rubber end should point out and up
  4. Slide the prop onto the rod, all the way to the other end at the firewall
  5. Insert the hook on the end of the prop into the firewall bracket (see photo); friction should hold the prop in place
  6. Reinstall the nuts on the other end of the rod and re-tighten to the radiator
  7. Repeat on the other side

I live just south of downtown Mebane, along 119 between 70 and the interstate.

Thanks.
Not trying to change your mind but since we're on the subject, here's a cheaper, simpler alternative for anyone who might be interested.
