Question 1929 model A phaeton 4 door

A friend past away recently due to a long battle with cancer. His wife wants to sell his 29 phaeton, but needs help in knowing a fair asking price. I know sight on seen is difficult, but I know the car and it is very nicely restored. However, because of his illness he has not been able to get the top done, but he has all the top irons that are not installed. I have a 36 ford now ,but haven't owned a model A in many years. I believe the 4 door phaeton is a standard model, but I'm not sure. I'm just trying to help so she doesn't get taken advantage of.
Thank you.

without the top done, Ild suggest a starting point of around 15k

Im shooting totally in the dark here........ could be 5k lower or higher depending on the quality of work. Need a photo or two.

Is it possible to post some photos? Otherwise search ebay, craigslist, and the Model A sites lhttps://model-a-ford.org/top-page-1/classifieds/ and https://www.mafca.com/classifieds.html. Also Bring A Trailer, https://bringatrailer.com/ford/model-a/

If you can find a local club you can invite the members to view the car. Feed them.

Keep in mind that a lot of asking prices are high just because people are fishing. The Bring A Trailer site has a history of the prices as sold. Keep in mind also that it is very rare to recover the cost of restoration, especially if you count the labor.

Selling on eBay may be a good solution here if you can take a lot of pictures and a video of it running. Phaetons don't show up on eBay very often, and the auction format allows you to underprice it without risk.

BaT will probably reject this listing since it's still a project.
