Default Horn Rod Length

I am putting the Original light switch setup on our truck , I am going to try to lengthen the Horn/Light switch rod , I need to know what length to make it and where to measure from. Also the picture below is one I found on line but mine is just like this

Would the 45 3/4 also fit the switch I have pictured without the bail. it appears to be to short or maybe I have something else wrong Does anyone have a break down picture of the switch Maybe I missing a part, and also thank you for your reply

I think the light switch handle you need is A-3616-AR.

I wonder why the chart doesn't show the first design, A-3616-AR?

Does the second one down in the chart "Gemmer Design" mean ALL 2 tooth steering boxes for 1929?
Or is my "F" box a Ford box and uses a different rod?

Is the A-3616-AR the correct one for me.From what I have read on here it should be
46-3/4” overall length But where does overall length measure from. If so does anyone have the dimension Thank You Billy
