Cool video! The newest car I spoted was 35 ford. They didn't seem to have lanes, just drive where you want to. "Those were the days"

Very cool. My fave is the wrecker towing the other car.

Re: 1930's Beverly Hills Rumble seat Cam
Nice video. I still think I was born 50 years too late. It would have been fun to have grown up with all the early cars, steam trains, and stationary engines. Even in 1971 when I got out of the Army and was driving through Kansas, it seems about half the oil wells were still powered by large flywheel stationary engines. I'll bet they are all electric motors now.

At :48, you can see the price of gas was 9 cents. I'd like to use my Model A as a time machine and go back there.

Re: 1930's Beverly Hills Rumble seat Cam
THAT was really neat! I also liked that wrecker!
My dad has a Packard like that woman was driving around the 35 second portion and it drives/steers just like a truck!! Notice that woman's arm around the 37 second portion!! No problem for her though! |

Re: 1930's Beverly Hills Rumble seat Cam
There are 2 instances of signs on the right side of the road that say "20" I think they may be the speed limit?
