Default Anyone use this turn signal set-up?

I would be using this with separate signal lights so a four wire system will suffice. It will be used on my speedster, and I don't wish to have a switch on my column. Pros, Cons, etc. Thanks.

Found it on Lang's website. Apparently it was designed with Model Ts in mind.

I would presume that it would work with both positive and negative ground?

I like this setup better: http://www.turnswitch.com/Turnsignal.htm I am using this for my third antique car turn signal kit. You can use a tiny hidden momentary micro-switch for the lever.

Turn Signal Control w/o switch - $109.95 and a momentary switch is $5. Similar price and much better functionality.

* Operates with 6 or 12 volts, Positive or Negative Ground.

* Easy installation with included instructions, wiring diagrams and terminal labels on control.

* Fail safes with brake and park lights still functional even with blown turn signal control fuse.

* Shares front Park or Fog lights for front turn signals.

* Flash rate independent of lamp load. Will flash LED lamps or incandesent lamps at the same rate.

* Controller can use any momentary switches to trigger turn function.

* 4-way Hazzard function.

* Quick disconnect of control box for easy service. No longer requires removal of each wire.

I like this better than the black box sold by the Model A vendors as well(I have two of them) as they are also self canceling by time and cheaper too.

I am not connected with this outfit, it is IMHO the best system out there and thought someone would like to know!

For a Stock Model A, I would agree that this is a great system, and I considered it. However I have only one tail light/brake light, no park, fog, or cowl lights, and no need for, or ability to use the 4 way flashers.

Also I believe if you want the wiring harness that plugs into the unit, it is available only with the switch option which is another $30 bringing the cost to $139.95. If you want the column mounted switch it is $229.95. Still a great item if you can use all of its features.

My main wiring harness Macs A11646T(expensive for a wiring harness) already has allowed for this type of setup. All I need is the box, a $5 micro switch, and wire to go from the box to the micro switch. I wish I had known about this box before buying 2 of Macs A13310ATQ for $180 each with less functionality.

This one also works with the lights that install between the bumper bars many vendors sell for turn signals(separate signal lights).

"If you want the column mounted switch it is $229.95" I don't since it looks clunky to me.

Okay, it's on the column, but I like the signal stat system sold by Snyder's, and probably some others. It's easy to install and has an old-timey look to it.
