Exactly my feelings also.

I see so many high end restorations done where they do the bed floor in wood. To me that takes away from the looks of these trucks and to me, that should dampen the selling price. But it doesn't seem too.

Stands out as very wrong when viewing these pickups '35-'36 and even the '37's.

Also... 1 month update! My family and I are having a blast driving the pickup, you guys weren't kidding about the ATTENTION these beautys get!!!
News on the project front, I just had some Oak planed down at a local mill that I plan on ripping this weekend for sideboards will update with pictures as that progresses...

Adam is right... about the rear bumper! Didn't catch that at first! I don't know how we missed that.

Easy to remedy Not a big deal and sure not taking away from your '36...she is a beauty. If you ever want to sell it I know a good home it can go to!!

HaHa! I saw that the curve was opposite the front when I was pinstriping the front bumper lines but hadn't researched it yet thanks guys lol its the little things...

Current stable consists of 1946 1/2 ton pickup turned woodie wagon with FH V8, 1947 Tonner Pickup (red) mostly stock with exception of a cummins 6at turbo diesel, 1946 Tonner Pickup (green) with 226 cu in 6 cyl flathead, 1979 Toyota landcruiser wagon, completely encased in 1947 Ford Jailbar sheet metal. Ok, cornbinder rear fenders..... 'Rusty ol' floorboards, hot on their feet' (Alan Jackson)

NOTES:
(1) I hope you get this in time to catch the American Graffiti Car Show on Sunday August 15th at McHenry Village in downtown Modesto (over 500 Cars and Trucks there).
(2) I hope you get this in time to catch the American Graffiti Car Show on Saturday and Sunday August 21st and 22nd at the Municipal Golf Course in Modesto.
