Last summer I ran into a bunch of guys from the ATHS (Antique Truck Historical Society). They said they were gonna stage a 'protest' in Portland in the fall. Reason being that when there was a protest, thousands of people were allowed to break all the rules, wear no masks, start and end at their will and do whatever they wanted with no interference from authorities. I felt their pain and even thought it to be a clever idea, but being a fairly at risk heart patient, you wouldn't see me there. I'm having way too much fun working on my old fords to check out early. That said, I can't wait to get back to the Portland Meet. 2022 seems a long ways off. And at our age, it is.....

If anyone knows any of the Portland Swap Meet board members, please ask if they could do a smaller show at 7 Feathers.

I just sent a Email asking that question to them but, knowing a member would be more useful and effective, I think..

Randy is the guy I’ve talked to before, he does the registration and seems to answer the phone, at least when I’ve called. Here’s their number 503-678-2100

I talked to one of the Swap Meet board members a couple of weeks ago. They were considering an outdoor only event, but a lack of acceptable venue and consideration for elderly volunteers and the reasonably anticipated miserable spring weather Oregon gets made that a no-go this year. My opinion... wait til 2022 and do it right.
