Default Looking for an exhaust system for my 1932 Phaeton

Iam am looking for a ready made exhaust system for my 32 phaeton. I am converting it from right hand drive to left hand drive & the current header hits the bottom of the steering column. Thanks in advance !

Tell us more.Orig engine or modified, orig exhaust manifold or aftermarket header?Picture would help immensely .Mike McKennett of Restorations and Reproductions in Portland might have a stock system.503-257-2433.If modified you might have to have it custom made.

I understand that all Mike has at present is a recent additional run of LHD '32 V8 crossover pipes and that no other parts of the exhaust system are planned at this time. When one of his complete systems shows up on ebay or elsewhere, the asking price is usually well north of $1,000. His '32 exhaust system was a classic example of that old saw, you get what you pay for. They were/are perfect fit and finish personified.

Thanks for the info. My phaeton is a complete, low mile original V8 car. I converted it to left hand drive & the header hits the steering box now. I have bought other system's for other car's from Co.'s like classic exhaust, but they dont have them for the 32.

I know where one of those is at. The problem is they won't sell it or talk about it. There a 14 touring beside it and a 40 coupe on the other side of it. Then there a 34 pickup there also. Tons of parts. He a real pack rat. First class. Maybe some day things will change there. They all are very nice original's.
