Default Tires

Hello all! I’m looking for some tire advice. I need to replace all four tires on my ‘30 Tudor. It has white walls on it now that are long gone! I can’t see replacing them for the price. Is their any recommendations for a nice riding good quality tire? Don’t want to break the bank but don’t want super cheap as well. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I put this new set of Universals from Coker on my pickup last month. They were reasonably priced and ride just fine.

The radial tires will last longer so they may be the better deal in the long run. To get the best tire mileage and handling you have to run a little higher air pressure than they recommend.

I put Universals from Coker on a few years ago. I've been very happy with them.

We went with the Coker Universal tires in 2019 and I am very happy with them. They are blackwalls similar to what Henry used. If I drove in wet or inclement weather I might feel differently and radials might be the ticket.

I am in the same situation, and plan to go radials......they seem to have better steering in general from all I've read.

New tires seem to be inflated. Pun intended.

I went to radials about 2500 miles ago. They do drive better.

My truck has Firestone 4.75-500 tires on it, been that way since I bought it. they ride nice, not super cheap, but definitely worth the money imo

An email I received from Kelsey not long ago (I had a set back-ordered briefly):
"I would like to let you know, we should be receiving the 475/19 Blackwall tires in around June 10th- 13th"
I ended up buying a set of Goodyears through Kelsey and was very happy with every facet of the transaction (customer service, shipping cost, timing of shipping). If we had a rating system (ie Yelp) they'd get a full five Ahoogas!
