Default 35 Coupe oil pan removal

I have a 59ab motor in my 35 coupe and want to remove the oil pan while the motor is in the car. Motor has Reds headers and dual exhaust. Suggestions, advise, pit falls all welcome.

Have isolated a loud ticking to cylinder 4 and thinking wrist pin clearance. Adjustable lifter clearances have been verified as good. Arias .030 over forged 3 ring pistons and later model rods with insert bearings.

Thanks

Hi Everyone! Since you're not getting much help, I'll kick in what I've read here.

I've never tried it so... They say the crankshaft will foul the pan unless it's rotated to provide clearance for removal.

If what you suspect is the problem, then I would go ahead and pull the motor to repair and check to make sure that everything else on the bottom end is OK. Besides that, it's a PITA to mess around trying to pull the pan and work from underneath. JMO...

Yep, I agree with this. You will go through all that BS and then will probably have to pull the engine anyway.
