Windshield frame gasket
I'm talking about the gasket between the windshield frame and cab. I got one of the sides out but am wondering what's the best way to get the bottom out??
I took a small flat screw driver and used it to pry open the channel for the side and it worked well. It looks like when new it was installed and the channel squeezed to hold it in place. Is that correct?? Should I use any lubricant to slide the new gasket in and if so what kind? It's a 30 sport coupe and I'm guessing it's the same as any enclosed cab model a?? Thanks in advance. |

Re: Windshield frame gasket
I recently installed a new gasket and had to open the channel a touch to get the old one out.To make installing the new one slide easily I sprayed it with a XL Silicone Spray....it states on the can that its ok with rubber .
