Default 1929 rubber pads on body blocks

what do you do with the rubber for body blocks on front ones that go into cowl im not running fenders

Originally, they were tacked to the rear of the blocks to where they lined up with the two holes and would simply hang down. As the body was installed, they were laid into place so that they would line up with the block and body bolt holes.

You would still need to used them. They act in part body shimming to line things up. Even without fenders or maybe hood, they still help line up the doors.
