Re: Preference, simple question, I think
What happened to 28/29? There are few 30s here and no 31s unless they have been recently imported.
1929 is my pick and std is by far the most available so I'd go for that.

Re: Preference, simple question, I think
Have always preferred Standard cars to Deluxe and rear mounted spares to side mounts.
I'll be the first to admit I'm frequently in a minority position. For a 50s or 60s car I would prefer 6-cylinder three on the tree instead of V8 4-speed....... update: In the interest of full disclosure, our best and favorite Model A was a 31 S/W Town Sedan (Deluxe) with dual sidemounts. Loved it in spite of it being a deluxe, not because of it......

Re: Preference, simple question, I think
I've always preferred standard to deluxe. Based on the amount of Washington Blue, dual side mount, deluxe (or deluxeified) roadsters I see at car shows, it seems most like the gussied up models.
When I get a little more space I'll be on the hunt for an unmolested 30/31 std. coupe with a trunk. I have a feeling I'll be looking for a while. |

Mine is a STD that was deluxified before I got it. That apparently was common in the day. I too prefer the STDs. |

Re: Preference, simple question, I think
controversial but most people want a standard because a deluxe was not in their budget. Do you want a Volkswagen or a Cadillac, basically same question !
