Default Carburetor

Hi Guys, Is one holley 390 8007 carb better than 2 two barrels on a 1950 Ford flathead V8 ? And also , how does a dual point set up work with 2 carbs ??? I get a lot of surging with the 2 carb dual points....Thanks for your input.....Bruce

Can't say it's better (it's what i'm running) but generally good right out of the box and then some tweeking (jets etc.)
Dual points won't make any difference so long as you are not using vacuum advance (centrifucal only).
