Default headers for a 39 chassis?

Does anyone know where I can find headers to fit a 39 chassis. I tried the fenton headers and they wont clear the steering box on my 39 pickup. Thanks.

I am going to call Reds in the morning. Will the tubular steel headers fit?

Seth: some guys RAISE the front of the engine a bit AND grind a little off the fenton's near the strg box. Believe it's been posted before. Try a search.

Using red headers on a 36 with a 59ab ,still had to raise front of engine a 1/4 inch to clear the 37 steering gear.

I called Reds this morning, the headers are on the way. I guess I will have to use the fentons on another flathead rebuild project.

It truly is an inherited disease.
