Default 29 sport coupe interior fastener

What is the correct way to fasten the quarter panel trim pieces for a 29 sport coupe?
I have attached a picture of the area. There is a steel bracket behind the panel where the fasteners are shown, does it have a wood piece attached to it or is the trim supposed to be attached directly the the steel bracket. My Lebaron Bonney instructions say all panels are tacked in place.
Thanks,
randy

Nice pic . Unfortunately that is a '30 Sport Coupe. There is a stamped steel brace diagonally in line with the rear edge of the trim panel. It has three punched holes for #10 x 3/4" oval head sheet metal screws w/ trim washers. The rear side panel wraps around the back to provide clearance for the adjustable seat.

I wish I could recall the specifics of the '28-29 Coups and Sport Coupes but I don't. If you go back to your original post and choose "edit" you can add "or Coupe" to the title and maybe more folks will chime in.
