The most recent is a steering shaft with worm gear for my sept 29 with seven tooth steering from Brattons. When X-mas or birthday nears I mark parts in Snyders and Brattons catalogs. This way the girls have a large selection to pick from. They know that I mostly want model A parts and books. For my birthday, Deb gave me Jim Brierleys new book, I highly recommend it for people that are interested in performance.

I've been collecting and building scale model cars for years. Yours looks great.

1929 Town Sedan-A Christmas present from my parents in 1963. They bought it from my cousin who was in college for $225 and needed $. It was a long 7 months before I got a drivers license!

And you let that stop you?

I was 14+ when I got my first Model A. A full year before I could get a "Learner's Permit"

I had to be discrete about when and where I drove it, but trust me, it got driven!

To be honest, I did take it a few times when Mom & Dad weren't around. But, I got busted one day, when it stalled at the bottom of the steep driveway, and I couldn't get it started! GROUNDED!
