Now I see it on the brattons site 19+ never mind....
Is their a standard Kroil and then an Aerokroil??

We usually use PB at 4.00 a can for regular shop use

I use it and like it. It's about $18 a can where I am, so I use it very sparingly. I push the spray nozzle just enough to get a couple drops right on the threads. After all if any spray goes other places, it does no good, other than give a good aroma.

I also like GIBBS, which I first heard about 30 years ago, but don't know where to buy it now. I used to buy it at threshing shows.

Kroil is the best there is. I bought a gallon about 10 years ago for $50. I still have over half left. You only need a couple of drops.

YES! Buy two cans so you have a back up when can #1 goes dry. Last memorable use was taking a flywheel off a keyed shaft of a 1928 Coldwell lawn mower. Last guy beat the thing on, you could see the hammer marks. Soaked it over a two week period, while tapping tapered wedges, oil finally creped in and the flywheel came off. Friends have freed up seized engines with the stuff. WELL WORTH THE COST. Bob

Have used Aerokroil for years. Works much better & faster on rusted parts than anything else I've tried - including WD40.

The kroil/aerokroil name confused me as well. Maybe they were marketing it to the aviation guys under a similar name?

Buy the non-aerosol too
Use the aerosol for where you need reach or upward.
Liquid seems to go further
It's really good stuff
I don't think I even have WD-40 anymore in the shop although it has alternative uses
Aerokroil is aerosol
Kroil is non-aerosol

It's amazing stuff ! I used it when I disassembled my roadster that had been sitting in semi weatherproof shed for almost 30 years and I couldn't believe how easy it made things come apart. It's pricey but I wouldn't use anything else.

I used Kroil extensively when restoring my 8N. That tractor never saw the inside of a barn it's entire life. Kroil made the process much easier and I think it's better than PB Blaster. At least it smells better ��

worth every penny.. they have a deal at times where you can get two spray cans of it shipped for about 20-25 $ It is my go to stuff, light years ahead of most the others. I use it when something that should move doesn't, spray it on and walk away for awhile, sometimes a day or two. In all the years I've used it it has never failed.

Tacoma screw sells a knock off. Several more ounces and cheaper. Seems to work as well.

Hi I have Kroil witch i like but i also like a homemade one that is also very good and has been tested against wd 40 and many others and was miles ahead of all of them. I wish i could remember where i saw the results, but i guess you will have to take my word for it. It is very simple to make, it is a mix of atf oil and acetone in a 1 to 1 mix, it has to be shaken good before use because it seperates when left sitting, also very cheap. I saw this on a machinest sight somewhere. Give it a try and see Denis
