Default more bed questions

30 pickup. the sub rails on my bed have three holes going horizontally through the sill near the rear end of the sill..(only had one and I don't think it is original) there were 1/4 x 5" bolts through the rail and sill. is this correct? if not I have some holes to close up. the bolt kit I got from mikes consists of six 7/16 bolts flat washers and lock washers. the bed to sill and bed to frame are the same kit. doesn't sound right. this bed is really rough and probably got a few barnyard patchups over the years.

I thought the bed was riveted to the sills. There are 3 bolt holes for the fender brace, and a few for the tailight bracket.

sorry i'm not too sharp with cameras and computer tricks. there are three holes in the lower flange of the metal rails just inside of and below the fender area. there are long 1/4" bolts going through the rails and through the wood sill. I don't know if this was original or done as a repair as things got worn out and loose. the sill looks home made, but the holes have the same spacing on both subrails. maybe I can find a pickup in the area to look at.
