Default Headlight Socket Insulator

I have a nice pair of 28 headlights I am restoring and I have a problem with one of the sockets. Two of the ears are missing on the insulator. Does anybody know where I can get one or how I can fix it?
Here is a picture of the good one.

Contact spring pressure should hold it against the bent tabs. Maybe a bead of silicone on the inside edge to keep it from wandering. Best to replace the socket, of course.

I may be wrong but I think the entire socket at Snyder’s is $8.00 dollars!

Reproduction sockets are not as well made as originals and are commonly problematic. I would like to use original parts.
