Re: My most recent acquisistion
Thanks for the very thoughtful words guys.
I'm very excited about this one. It'll be a year or more before I can tackle a full restoration as my shop schedule is more than full until then. In the meantime, I will do some light cosmetics and replace the springs. I'd managed to locate and purchase a pair of NOS springs to restore the proper height.

Re: My most recent acquisistion
The only other car I have on my list is a '32 Chrysler Imperial Roadster. They are simply art on wheels.

Re: My most recent acquisistion
My 35 was originally Washington blue, although it is not 100% original(filled roof, hyd brakes, column shift) it still runs a flathead and I was thinking of going back original paint.
Your beauty convinced my it’s the right color choice! |

Re: My most recent acquisistion
Congratulations Kube!
Important to have stock restorations maintained and preserved, especially 1936 Ford Deluxe Roadsters. I finished mine last August after 8 years. It was a basket case and required parts from four different cars. It has earned two Best Original Ford 32-53 V8 awards. Keep'em original! gnolnor Ron Long Last edited by gnolnor; 07-19-2018 at 08:06 PM. Reason: move words |

They were looking for ($) what a properly restored car was worth - not the 10¢ job they did. What a shame as that particular car deserved the best.
