Default Station Wagon Rear Wheelhouse, a.k.a: rear inner fenders, rear wheel aprons

I have secured a pair of Rear Wheelhouse assemblies for my Station Wagon. The sheet metal aprons are in pretty tough shape, I think repairs can be made, but having a set of patch panels would be a great help.

The Wheelhouse is made of two major parts. Structural component which is 4 foot long and made of 1/8 inch steel. This part is riveted to a piece of 18 gauge sheet metal, the apron, that attaches to the wooden quarter panel and holds the rear fender.

S & S Industries made the aprons, but they have been out of production for several years. Does anyone have any experience working with the S&S wheel aprons? Should I try to find the S&S parts or find a sheet metal whisperer to make these new again.
