Default wheel lug nuts 7/8 inch across flats

One of my 32 Fords has lug nuts that are 7/8 inches across the flats. They look fairly new are well made and fit really nice. Were these ever original equipment? Maybe for a truck? Every other Ford lug nut i have seen is the standard 13/16.

I have some like that, they were from a Jag sedan, late 80s with steel wheels. There must be other sources, but not a Ford (at least of the type we are familiar with).

Did the jag have metric lug nuts ?

22 mm would be about the same. Maybe these lug nuts
came off an european ford? Although the threads are
perfect for stock american ford hubs.

No, they were 1/2-20. Old Jag XJ40 style.
